The Comic Book Swap Meet was very awesome today. Had a great time meeting and chatting with people today. Got to work on some cool drawings like a Hyundai Genesis alongside the TARDIS, a goblin and a wolf creature, and started a really cool sketch of a Cthulu babe (its looking awesome). Got to chat with a couple of really neat local artists (hello, Nerdy Chan and John Campbell, and heyla Josh Myers) and make some contacts with some great folks. I may get an opportunity to do some art for a guy whos doing a cool replica of River Songs diary (spoilers, sweetie) for his niece, and some sets of custom Magic cards. I am hoping some of the great artists I met will be able to appear at the next Pacific NW Comic, Toy & Gaming in October or November (Michael Potter these folks would love to participate... well chat). Got to have picture taken in the TARDIS with Cthulu and the gorgeous American McGees Alice aka Corinne Duval. Lastly, and certainly not in the least, we got to meet the wonderful Karen Sakai, a cosplayer who is as gracious as she is beautiful.
