The Coming of the King James Gospels by Ward S. Allen and Edward C Jacobs - What we can hear so far is that each revision is being done off the works just past it. Now, the original and best text or even oral information is getting lost and further from the new writings as the each rewrite has its meaning and is not only conforming but the ideas of the original author or spokesperson is no longer considered. The revising of the Bible has become a game for the most knowledgeable and respected literary writers of the time. Without the use of the OLD text we are losing the best considered information from that time that affects today and gives us insight into the times of its writing. The Books are still good for teaching but what we need is what did Christ mean?
