The Commission on Audit asking the lawmakers linked to the 10 - TopicsExpress

The Commission on Audit asking the lawmakers linked to the 10 billion pork barrel scam to return the money they allegedly spent on questionable transactions is an improper statement considering that plunder, malversation of public funds, graft and corruption charges were recommended by the NBI to the Ombudsman. Let us assume, for the sake of argument, that the lawmakers returned the money, the story does not end there. Returning the kickback money is an admission of guilt and these lawmakers should be jailed if the courts found them guilty beyond reasonable doubt. I am advising COA to refrain from announcing unnecessary statements like this. The ball is now in the hands of the Ombudsman. The Filipino people can only wish that the guilty people be sent to jail including the honor-less lawmakers.
