The Committee on National Issues and Concerns (CONIC) joins the Lasallian Justice and Peace Commission (LJPC) in its renewed call for Transparency and Accountability in government, particularly in the use of the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) or Pork Barrel (delasalle.ph/news/2013/8/22/renewed-call-for-transparency-and-accountability). We invite all sectors of our community to join the Lasallian contingent that will march towards Luneta on August 26, 2013 and engage in the group discussions that will be conducted by the facilitators of LJPC. Assembly time: 7:30 am Assembly point: Cory Aquino Democratic Space, Ground Floor Henry Sy Sr. Building De La Salle University Attire: White shirt (with green armband/ribbon) The DLSU bus will be at the end of the Lasallian delegation that will march to Luneta in case there will be severe weather conditions on that day. Participants with health concerns are advised to take the bus.
