The Community Arts Network Of Edson (CANOE) invite you to submit nominations for the second annual Edson and Area Arts Awards. Congratulations to Mackenzie Brown, Matricia Brown, Barb Mergaert, and Doug Woodhouse who were the recipients of the inaugural Edson and Area Arts Awards. As they won last year, they are not eligible for nomination this year. However, those who were nominated last year and did not win are eligible for nomination this year. These awards will be presented at Arts on Fire on Friday, September 27, 2013 at the Galloway Station Museum during Culture Days. Requirements on a separate page explain why this nominee should be considered for the award (address the award criteria in your nomination) all nominees must submit a biography up to 100 words in length where possible, illustrate the nomination with support materials such as CDs, DVDs, photographs on a flash drive, letters of reference, press clippings, website links (copies—not originals) drop off the nomination form, explanation, biography, and support materials at The Red Brick Arts Centre and Museum or the Community Services Department (Town of Edson offices) by Thursday, September 05, 2013 Note to Nominators Nominators must complete the nomination form, notify the nominee, and provide support materials. The nominator must not be a family member or co-habiting partner. When the nominee is an organization, the nominator cannot be a board member or staff person of the organization.
