The #ConcernedYouthforCommonPurpose a pro democracy and development youth institution, has embarked upon the distribution of relief items to people suspected and confirmed to be victims of the ebola virus at quarantined and isolated homes. Yesterday, our team was very humbled to have visited a home of 18 persons in Virginia waterside that have been isolated after being hit by the deadly ebola virus. According to the the community leadership, the family has lost a son and another is presently isolated at the ELWA quarantined facility. The government as we know is overwhelmed with problems and lacks the ability and capacity to fully addressed the demands associated with the ongoing ebola fight. Therefore, we as young people institution in our wisdom, felt its a responsibility of all Liberians including the young people to dig in our pockets and reached out to some well meaning Liberians to assist our government and people in the ongoing ebola crisis. While we called on other philanthropists to assist us with just anything ranging from a sack of water to food items, we also exend our resounding gratitude to all Liberians including but not limited to Mr. Lawrence Randall and Sidikie M. Bility for their immense financial and moral contribution to our programs. May the Almighty God richly reward you for your generosity.
