The Conquerors Root (I) If you are born again, you are a descendant of the tribe of Judah. Jesus was a conqueror, and you come from the same spiritual heritage. Consistent conquest has its roots in God (Romans 8:35-37). 1. David was a conqueror and so was Jesus. 2. David conquered for Israel, but Jesus conquered for the whole world. 3. The person who is committed to a lifestyle of sin is of the devil, but Jesus came to loose humanity from the bondage of sin (1 John 3:8). a) Jesus was victorious over sin. b) You dont have to sin if you don’t want to sin. c) As a Believer, your sins are pardoned the moment you repent. 4. Jesus came to the world to fight a battle and have conquest; Jesus is a mighty conqueror. a) Being Gods children, we have our root in Jesus.So we are more than conquerors.
