The Container is closed. Doing 2 shows a day, back to back during a festival was harder than I thought, but very rewarding. An interesting experience being SO close to an audience, who, Id say half of, could not watch the show but kept their eyes averted much of the time. Not that what was going on was particularly shocking or offensive, but I believe--and hope--that it was such an immersive theatrical experience, that those audience members were just too close to the action to bear watching it. Congratulations to the director, (Zachary Florence) and producer, (Sabrina Bandali), for bringing this thing to life and asking me into The Container. Thanks to the design staff and Meredith, the stalwart stage manager for keeping The Container upright. Bon Voyage to my cast mates who Ive traveled with in The Container for the last month or so. Its been a fine ride.
