The Copiah county horses have arrived at 5.30 AM this morning at little creek ranch. Dont let those photos fool you, they all can use some weight. Only a couple rated in the low 2s. Most are 3 -4 on the Henneken scale. Not one of the horses is in ideal weight but nothing good feed and love cant cure. Right now these horses need rest more that anything and they are all munching on good hay. Several with injuries have been seen and evaluated by the vet and are now stalled at a separate location. Everything went smoothly thanks to the wonderful folks from little creek ranch, their neighbors and all the great volunteers. Happy trails to all the horses from here on out.
