The Copperas Cove Police Department responded to a report of a residential burglary on Saturday at 10:54 a.m. in the 800 block of South 15th Street where a window was damaged and a television and a computer were stolen. The total monetary value assessed in this incident was $1,750. Cove police responded to six accident reports on Saturday, one of which occurred in the 100 block of West Highway 190 reported at 6:39 p.m. as a result of a subject allegedly driving while intoxicated causing more than $200 worth of damage to a vehicle. Another accident was reported at 5:56 p.m. from the 2900 block of East Highway 190 where more than $200 worth of damage was done to a vehicle. The other four accidents happened one at the intersection of East Highway 190 and East Avenue D at 11:54 a.m., in the 1400 block of East Highway 190 at 1:12 p.m., one involving less than $200 worth of damage to a vehicle in the 1400 block of Georgetown Road reported at 5:18 p.m. and one at the intersection of Lutheran Church Road and North 1st Street reported at 5:42 p.m. Reckless damage, disorderly conduct in the form of language and disorderly conduct in the form of public affray were reported on Saturday at 11:01 a.m. from the intersection of Liberty Bell Lane and Independence Street. The theft of a 1981 Yamaha moped valued at $600 was reported at 10:36 a.m. on Saturday from a location in the 600 block of Westview Circle. Charles Frank West was arrested on Saturday at 2:48 a.m. in the 100 block of West Highway 190 for driving with an invalid license with a previous conviction. Criminal mischief was reported from the 1100 block of Morning Dove Trail on Saturday at 8:33 a.m. where $320 worth of damage was done to three vehicle tires. Theft over $500 under $1,500: 600 block Westview Circle. Stolen: 1981 Yamaha moped. Value: $600. Burglary of a habitation: 800 block S. 15th St. Damaged: window. Stolen: television, computer.
