The Corona Police Department is happy to announce that with the assistance of the San Diego Down Syndrome Society, the four year old little girl who had her wheelchair stolen last week received her wheelchair today. It was delivered to the family residence at approximately 2:30 PM with the assistance of Corona Police Officers. The family was extremely grateful of this special delivery this afternoon. We want to thank our entire community for taking a tragic event and making it a special Christmas for this family. Coincidentally, the reported stolen wheelchair had just been recovered late this morning, a few hours before the new wheelchair was going to be delivered. The investigation is ongoing and no suspect has been identified.
