The Court today made a decision on what used to be called COOL Country of origin labeling. Stating for consumer safety meats must be labeled and tracked from birth to slaughter. I dont think the courts are considering the costs and issues involved in the undertaking of such record and tracking keeping! Nearly Impossible! I understand its easy enough to do (COOL) but Birth to Death? on a label? And most likely it will be coded so it wont mean a damn thing to the consumer anyway! Just more unjustified food cost! OMG
