The Cubs youth movement may be beginning soon. They just DFAd Darwin Barney. True, it was to make room for Emilio Bonifacio, but Bonifacio was always considered someone that was going to be flipped. Once hes traded, that opens up a spot for Baez to move up. Hes been moved over to 2B at Iowa, and I dont see them doing that unless its in preparation for a promotion. A) Baez approaching 400 PAs in the minors B) Hes moved to 2B C) Weve just DFAd our starting 2B D) The 2B rookie that got brought up keeps getting shoved toward CF
