The Cultural Attractions Committee and Central Programming Council - TopicsExpress

The Cultural Attractions Committee and Central Programming Council are proud to present Scott Bradlee and Postmodern Jukebox on Tuesday, October 28th at 8 pm at the Bijou Theatre. As an up and coming jazz pianist, Scott Bradlee struggled to find artistic merit in today’s pop music; however, after putting his own spin on popular songs, he has found that most music can be molded into something beautiful and very artistic. What started as YouTube videos has exploded into Scott Bradlee and Postmodern Jukebox. Here’s a link for you to see Scott Bradlee and Postmodern Jukebox perform a cover of Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy”: https://youtube/watch?v=NzPGzGUNZbs . Please let your students and the music department know about this exciting opportunity to hear todays most popular songs remade into a vintage jazz composition of talent. Also, attendees are invited to wear 1920’s attire for a fun and jazzy Best Dressed Contest! For more information about Postmodern Jukebox, visit their website at postmodernjukebox/. This event will be $10 for UT-K students who opted-in to the student-organized programming portion of the student programs and services fees. Additionally, staff and faculty receive a discount for a ticket price of $20. All other attendants must pay $25. Tickets can be purchased at the Central Ticket Office on the bottom floor of the University Center. Students who did not opt-in to the student-organized programming portion of the Student Programs and Services Fee will not receive free or discounted student ticket rates. For more information regarding the cost of events, please contact the Center for Student Engagement at (865) 974-5455. Thank you, Amanda Bouldin Cultural Attractions Committee
