The Cure for Getting Caught Up in Everyone Elses Mistakes! The erudite judge, al-Qadi al-Iyad wrote, Once I prayed the sunset prayer, al-Maghrib, in Masjid al-Aqsa with a group of people. Sh. Muhammad, the son of Abdur Rahman, al-Maghribi, a pious man, was with us. Upon closing our prayers with the salutations of peace, two men, whom sheikh Muhammad was sitting between, began to argue: You ruined your prayer, because you were moving like a crow, argued one. You are lying; my prayer was fine, responded the other. The first man said to Sh. Muhammad, Was he not praying next to you? What do you think of his prayer? Sh. Muhammad responded, I did not notice him. I was occupied with my soul and my prayer from paying attention to others and their prayers. The first man became embarrassed and the people were impressed with the answer given by Sh. Muhammad. If knowledge is light. Then, its power source is sincerity. While any light can shine upon the surface surrounding it, only the strongest illuminate the inner workings of the source that holds them. Ponder!
