The Curse of the Modern Man. Modern men refuse to adapt themselves to their environment, instead they adapt their environment to suit them. So they build cities, roads, vehicles, machinery and puts up power lines to run up their labour saving devices, but somehow they do not know when to stop. The more they improve their surroundings to make their lives easier, the more complicated they make it. Now their children are sentenced to 10-15 years in schools just to learn how to survive in this complex and hazardous habitat they are being being born to. And the modern men who refuses to adapt themselves to their natural surroundings now find they have to adapt and re-adapt everyday and every hour of the day to their own created environment. For instance if the day is called Monday and the number 7.30 shows up on one their modern gadgets, one has to leave his domestic surroundings and re-adapt himself to entirely different environment. 8.00 shows up on the clock gadget it means everybody has to look busy.10.00 shows up on the clock gadget it means one can stop looking busy for 15 minutes and then have to look busy all over again.
