The Cycling Federation of Belize in collaboration with SMART presents the 33rd Annual SMART Belmopan Cycling Classic on Sunday, March 16th, starting at 8:00 a.m. from in front of SMART Headquarters on the Philip Goldson Highway, where the Open/Elite/Masters will travel the Philip Goldson Highway to Belmopan City and return for a total of 100 miles; while the Female/Junior/Youths will travel to La Democracia and return for a total of 60 miles. The Technical Meeting for this event is open to Team Managers only and will be held on Thursday, March 13th at 7:00 p.m. at the NOC Conference Room, upstairs Dooneys, on Albert Street. Deadline for registration is Wednesday, March 12th. Registration fee is $30 per rider and $30 for race radio. Kindly note proof of payment should be presented at the Technical Meeting. All teams bringing in foreign riders are asked to present the aval and riders license. Late registration fee is $20 and will not be taken after midday on Friday, March 14th. Please note that only registered members form part of the race caravan. Finally, the Cycling Federation of Belize reminds all that we are enforcing the no litter policy, where riders found discarding their water pouch, gel packs, or non-degradable garbage on the highway during our event, will be penalize per offence, which is a minimum of $25 per fine.
