The DILG Regional Office 7 released the first tranche for the 2014 SALINTUBIG Program for the Municipality of Mabini. Checks were released to LGUs that satisfactorily complied the requirements of the first tranche, the amount released to LGU-Mabini is Three Million Pesos (Php 3,000,000.00) or One Million Pesos (Php1,000,000.00) each check. The SALINTUBIG Program is designed to provide grant financing and capacity development programs to enhance/improve capacities of the LGUs and water service providers in planning, implementation and operation and management of water supply facilities in a sustainable manner and for the implementation of water supply projects in the waterless barangays with high level of waterborne diseases without access to safe water. Kudos to Mayor Esther Fostanes-Tabigue, RND which spearheaded the project and to all Municipal Elected Officials for the support.
