Here are some of the questions I ask myself when considering new ideas: Does it improve my relationship with current clients? Is it in alignment with my business mission and values? Does it advance my major goals for this year? Will it increase my income, or have a positive affect on another key metric? Do I have the resources (time, energy, other) to execute effectively? Is it profitable? What are the benefits of moving ahead? What are the consequences of moving ahead? Am I excited about doing this?
