The DP of “Comics de JPMC” will stay black until batch 2013 get their Salary. People should understand it is not just about salary but lack of infrastructure where lacks of facilities available to young doctors are killing their desire to work. We “house officers” work the most hours and that is the way that should be, we are at the bottom of team. We are the working force of JPMC but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be valued. JPMC don’t owe us, SMC refuses to step up. For those who say Doctor is a noble profession and we are doing Allah’s work and should not worry about our pay. It’s easy to judge from other side of world. Six months. 189 days, on an average 2000 of working hours. 3 different incidences have happened in mere 6 months where Batch 2013 House Officers were at the end of violence. No protection, No Salary, No respect yet we are expected to show 110% commitment, 110% concentration.
