The DR OZ CONTROVERSY is an attempt to regulate the advice of famous physicians in the media through the use of organized doctor networks. In other words, they want all doctors to be socialist robots that adhere to a unified system and give the same old boring advice. Institutionalized science is all about fitting in and following traditions of the past and people that doctors that dont fit in dont get tenure or promotions. In other words, it makes sense to be good boys and girls within a commune. Institutionalize or one party science doesnt allow any room for innovation from within the system. By comparison, when you have free market competition (doctors competing against one another), the medical field will experience sudden leaps in creativity. For anyone to prove Dr. Oz was deceiving people by telling them Garcina Cambodia and Green Coffee bean extract works, they would have to prove that it doesnt work. Say you were going to nutrition school and the teacher asked you to do a research paper on Green Coffee beans, it would take you at least two weeks of quiet time to do the proper analysis. As a famous physician with so many different things going on, Dr. Oz doesnt have the time to do extensive research on every product he recommends either. I don’t agree with the way in which people sensationalize pills and gimmicks over real food, however I do not want to see the so called alternative doctors silenced. vox/2014/7/12/5891451/meet-the-medical-student-who-wants-to-bring-down-dr-oz-quackery
