The DWP has turned into a hellish organisation led by sociopaths who do stuff like hand out cardboard cutout sheriffs stars as prizes to the DWP staff who thrust the most people into absolute destitution via benefits sanctions. Maybe Im an idealist, but the role of Jobcentre staff should be to assist people in finding work and/or training, not to assist Iain Duncan Smiths efforts to manipulate the headline unemployment figures by throwing as many vulnerable people off benefits as possible (we all know the tiny minority of hardened scroungers know exactly which hoops to jump through to avoid sanctions, meaning its the mentally ill and severely uneducated who end up being condemned to absolute poverty by this appalling regime).
