The Daily Drum Today I am featuring my starting palette. My drums are made of elk skin on a cedar frame, making a great surface to paint on. They are made by native drum maker from British Columbia. New unpainted drums are ready for your favourite image! Because the native culture has always been a big believer in the circle of life, many believe that the drum beats in their ceremonies were the heartbeat of their Mother Earth. Hand drums that are used in spiritual ceremonies where a lot of singing and dancing occur. They play a part in many powwows and spiritual and religious ceremonies. Have a Great Day!
