The Daily Jeff printed a story in todays paper that stated the Commissoners were considering a mill levy for the fall ballot. That levy IS NOT the vehicle license tax that I have posted about. They are TWO SEPARATE tax proposals. One will be voted on by the voters and one will not; however, the Commissoners implied that no tax was being implemented without voters approval. That is a flat out LIE! They are attempting to deceive the population of Guernsey County by issuing a half-truth story. As a result the residents are looking at not one but TWO new potential taxes and only one of which will be voted on.
