The Daily Word. Psa 18:1 I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. Strength is the ability to move anything. A sick man does not have strength to walk. Things break for lack of strength. Progress stops for lack of strength to carry on. David refers to the LORD as his strength. Without the LORD we can do nothing. We cannot move, we will break down under the care and strain of life, we cannot move forward in anything. The LORD not only gives strength, He is our strength! Spiritually, physically, mentally, morally the LORD is our strength. David recognizing this says, "I will love thee, O LORD, my strength."
