Hos. 6:3 KJV During the long hot summer of the south, the fields can get so dry that the crops just sit dead. The one thing that they need to restore life and make everything right is a good rain shower. Once the rain comes the fields spring back to life with green plants and start growing again. Many times in scripture God’s presence is compared to rain on a dry and thirsty land. It is the one thing that can bring healing, satisfaction, and life where there is none. Things that were thought dead, will suddenly spring back to life. Our lives can get so messed up, so busy, so full, and yet so empty. There is only one thing that will make everything right: spending time in the Lord’s presence. As we spend time with Him, He makes the rest work out for us. He gives us clarity and fills the emptiness. He will come like the rain.
