The Dalai Lama sessions got over today. I had a great time listening to him. it is not so much the Buddhist philosophy but more him as a person, his child like being... Some of his parting comments: Learning happens at three levels - by hearing, by thinking and by experiencing....the highest level of learning is experience. So dont go back thinking that you have learned just by listening to me... Im feeling homesick. It is hot and humid here in Mumbai. I want to go back to my home in Dharamsala... it is cold and dry there.. So tommorrow I will go back and you will have to deal with your problems on your own... no Dalai Lama.. Sometime on saturday, he said Im an old man, a buddhist, a monk, Tibetian and of course, Im Dalai Lama! Other than that Im like you all only...I have the same thinking... emotions... I took that and told myself yes, we are all the same... 7 billion of us
