The DeHose fire is moving in a north easterly direction into steep and rugged terrain. The south end of the fireline is holding. Today, the dozer will continue to build line in the north portion of the fire while hand crews will work on the north east portion in anticipation of burn out operations later this evening. Modified Fire Restrictions are in effect on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation. Campfires, charcoal-burning devices are prohibited during the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Debris burning is prohibited until further notices. Power saws are not allowed to be used during the hours of 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM for any wood cutting or thinning activity. *Smoke may be visible from the the fire in the community of Cibecue and surrounding communities such as Pinetop-Lakeside and Show Low.
