The Deacon’s Pantry Food Bank The food bank volunteers worked very hard through the Spring with heavy attendance of clients. We are very grateful for the ongoing support of Second Harvest who continue to provide most of the fresh produce we are able to give, The deliveries take place at about 9am. on a Monday morning. We are looking for a supervisor for these deliveries. When you are planting your gardens, please add a few extra plants and donate the produce from them to the Food Bank. Again this year, Fr. Greg has planted his back yard with a whole host of herbs and other delicious things to offer to our Food Bank clients. The Reh’ma group, who planted the garden on the Inniswood side of our playground, could not get any funding to continue this year and although the patch looks weedy now, a group from St. Jude’s will undertake to clean out this plot and plant it. If you would like to volunteer please contact Mary in the office. Thank you to the people of St Jude’s for their continued donations and support.
