The Deadly Blade; Nature’s Truth By: SA-Kaempfer Original Quote (Line 1) By: Tibullus “Who first forged that deadly blade, of rugged steel his savage soul was made.” Of rugged heart and rugged skill that forged the blade meant to kill. His mind was sharp and his skills honed, the Gods dismayed to their very bones. A weapon to strike and a weapon to kill, these things and more born of his will. Some say he was a murderer, alas, his heart was kind; What sorts of horror were conceived in his innocent mind? It is the mark of an innocent man to invent to bring on good, But it was the nature of humans, then, to corrupt whatever they could. His ideas were new and his intentions right but the people would not listen; To make a tool to bring in game and food was his only mission! They contorted that first deadly blade and made it all their own, And with that blade they managed to destroy their once fine home! War was made between town and tribe, brother destroying brother; What more could the Gods do, outside from starting over? European man does not see his own birthright, A paragon of industry and the pinnacle of might! What sadness it is to see my children fallen from the light! Thus spoke the great father Jupiter, while thinking in his head: We must, for a punishment, strike the innovator dead! They went out and found that man and asked for his account, But the kindly man just simply said, Ill pay any amount, Any amount of time needed to make amends, To pay for any damages my mind has caused to men. By this the Gods were moved, he held no malice in his heart, A simple inventor, he merely was, and in the wars he took no part. He was instructed to create battlements and walls and ramparts too, To keep the corrupted men away so that they might not do, Those deeds of war and plundering launched upon their own; Europe was to be a peaceful place, not this war torn zone! A place for all European descended men to establish families, A place to construct mighty walls to keep out enemies. Each nation of Europe shall stand together in labor and community, “We must band together in ‘true’ European unity!” “To keep our bloodlines strong and our people strong in might, We shall keep out the sand people and the people of the night! They shall be our allies, those among them not wishing us harm, And we shall extend our hand to fortify their towns and farms!” “Not only shall they live in peace, but they shall be among their own, Through this combination of Volk and might, all shall find a home! In their ancestral lands each race should happily stay, Its the lesson of the ages and through Nature all shall find the way!”
