The Dean and Associate Dean of the Cleveland Institute of Music - TopicsExpress

The Dean and Associate Dean of the Cleveland Institute of Music laughed at me, to my face, when I said I wanted to write expressive, modernistic music for cello/quartet that could be used with dance. I allowed them to uproot ideas, feelings, and dreams. Of course, I did not go to CIM, and I did not write music for cello. Internalized doubt, fear, negativity, and inertia led me down paths away from my dreams, ambitions, and creative spirit. Not any more. Thank you Alexis Cruz Ramirez
