The Deception Bay Boxing Club proudly presents - RISING STARS 2, hosted for the first time at the Queensland State Equestrian Centre (QSEC), Caboolture on Saturday 26th July 2014. Rising Stars 2 will feature a spectacular card of some of the best local boxers, who are not only well renowned in Queensland and Australia but internationally as well. Gates open at 3.30pm, with first boxing to commence at 4.30pm. The Main Event will commence at 6.30pm and be streamed worldwide - dont miss out on the action of actually being there to witness some of the best fighting it out for the IBO Asia Pacific Title WBC Continental Title and Queensland Light Heavyweight Title. IBO Asia Pacific Title (10 Rounds) - Jason Nugget Cooper, the current IBO Asia Pacific Champion and former Australian and Queensland Champion, will be defending his title for the first time against Phissanuthep Chaiyonggym who recently knocked out Yodchanchai Nakornloung (22 wins, 3 losses). WBC Continental Title (10 Rounds) - Semi Main and 2 time Fox Sports Fight of the year nominee and current Queensland Champion, the exciting and very proud indigenous Waylon The Outlaw Law will verse Tom Ford for the WBC Continental title. Queensland Light Heavyweight Title (8 Rounds) - Brian The Game Matchett recently made an impressive return to the ring with a first round knockout. The fighting Irish will be contesting the Queensland Light Heavyweight title verse Josh The Hitman Webb. Boxing from 4.30pm will feature Billy Limov (Moreton Bay Regional Title); Borko Radakovic; Connor Hayes; Chantelle Hissey; Taylor Robinson; Sam Cameron Hands; Cian Jones.
