The Delegation of the European Union to Japan and the Austrian Embassy in Tokyo present TOMORROW an EU Animation Film Evening with a selection of films short-listed in Ars Electronica 2012 Short animation films from 15 European Union (EU) Member States including one production from Japan – this is, in a nutshell, the programme for a film evening showcasing recent examples of animation films made in the EU and short-listed by an international festival. The films included in the programme are all taken from a Blu-ray disc produced and kindly provided by the Ars Electronica Animation Festival 2012 in Linz, Austria. All of the films were presented at the Ars Electronica Festival last year. Most of them are made by freelance animators and the line-up covers a wide range of themes from About Music and Inner Spaces to Comedy.
