The Delhi core team members Usha Prajapati( Samoolam ) , Veena ( KarmMarg) and Pooja Ratnakar ( Kadam) visited Uttarakhand , Chamoli district from 23rd – 27th July 2013. JP Maithani (Aagaas) , Harsh (Aagaas) and Jaswinder(Aagaas) joined them at Dehradun and helped facilitate the understanding, assessment and fact finding mission. We were amazed at the destruction caused and the effect of the cloudbursts still causing landslides which is making relief work that much more difficult.
