In September of 2013, the long existing Copperwaithe Dental Clinic was moved to a new permanent location on the Blackwood Campus. We have a modern, bright & easily accessible facility to provide your dental care. Our clinic provides excellent service and care to people of all ages and without residency restriction. We provide comprehensive preventative services to the general public for $7. ***************** Appointments are available!!! **************** We are accessible to public transportation. In fact, there is a bus stop directly in front of our clinic. We have a drop off area at the front of the building lobby and a large amount of parking has been added as a result of this new expansion. Dental insurance is not required. If you have dental insurance we welcome you. In these times of economic hardship, our clinic is able to provide you with valuable preventative services at little cost to you. This allows you the coverage needed to have restorative work done by your dentist throughout the year. If you do not have dental insurance, we can refer you to low cost restorative clinics and dental practices that can complete your care so that you may have a better quality of life and health. Free services are also provided, such as: Oral Cancer Screening, Nutritional Counseling and Smoking Cessation. Do you have an athlete at home? We can provide them with a custom made, professionally fitted athletic mouth guard for $5. Other services provided for $5 or less : tooth sealants, panoramic radiograph, bite-wings, full mouth x-rays and plaque control program. A complementary set of x-rays and a report of significant findings will be sent to your regular dentist. (Our clinic is available from September through May.
