The Department of Counselling, within the Faculuty for Social Wellbeing in collboration with the Department of Theatre Studies, School of Perfromance Arts would like to invite you to an upcoming performance entitled Innocent Flesh The production, by TACT Theatre, and directed by Marc Cabourdin, portrays the experience of four young girls lured into prostitution, through promises of love, wealth and fame. The play exposes the enusing hardships and realities and is an excellent eye-opener to the harsh realities around us, certainly not alien to the island of Malta. This performance is educational in line with our commitment to social justice issues and propels us to learn to identify situations of forced prostitution, to raise awareness and prompt more action to be taken to combat such harmful injustices. The play will be held on Saturday the 15th of March 2014 at 8.00pm at the MITP Theatre in Valletta. Student Tickets are available at a reduced price.
