The Department of Homeland Security is inviting comments from public to make a historic ruling, whereby those on H4 visa, who are in the process of applying for permanent resident status will get EAD sooner, unlike, the atleast 6 years of wait time to get an EAD, and 12-15 years of wait time for GC, currently. Many of you perhaps dont understand how difficult it is to be a H4 holder; a dependent, in every aspect of your life on the H1 visa holder, hitting roadblocks and the eternal confusion, about the identity. This rule could soon be a reality for many like me, who have made USA their home.
