The Deputy Governor of Taita Taveta County H.E. Mary Ndigha Kibuka, during meetings with members in diasporas, has asked Tavetas and Taitas living outside the county to be the first investors in their county. She is requesting them to come back home and utilize their immense education, expertise and ability which they have gathered over time to improve the lives of their people. Taita Taveta is the only county that invests ample time and resources in going for the advice and input of members residing without her boundaries. “Some of our best brains and professionals are held by work and business outside home. As such, we long for their counsel and voice in the discourse of governance. We will continue to follow them wherever they are,” she said.
