The Dierks Outlaws stay undefeated on the season with a homecoming win over Mineral Springs Friday night, 29 to 8. Both teams struggled with offense, however the Outlaws finished the night with 24 first downs and 273 rushing yards. They were 9 of 16 in passing for 75 yards. Mineral Springs only had 7 first downs and 49 rushing yards. The Hornets were 8 of 21 in passing for 106 yards. Both teams had several penalties, Dierks had 12 penalties for 110 yards and Mineral Springs had 8 penalties for 60 yards. Dierks hosts Lafayette County next week. The Hornets fall to 1-4 on the season. They host Murfreesboro next week.
