The Difference between Witchcraft...Wicca...and Pagan: Yes there is a difference and here it is....Wicca is a tradition of Witchcraft brought on by Gerald Gardner back in the 1950s. There is a debate among the Pagan community as to whether or not Wicca is the same form the ancients practiced. Pagan is an umbrella term used to apply to a number of earth based faiths. Wicca falls under that heading although not all Pagans are Wiccan. Witchcraft is the the ability to train to draw, to focus, and use the energy, which surrounds and flows through everything for change in oneself or in ones surroundings. While it is true some wiccans are witches, not all witches are wiccan or pagan for that matter. Witchcraft if practiced by many people and faiths throughout the world Wicca is not. I hope this is not confusing all though it can be... :)
