The Director General of the National Sports Commission, Hon Gbenga Elegbeleye has charged the Super Eagles to press the throttle full blast on Saturday when they clash with the Flames of Malawi. He called on the coach Stephen Keshi led technical crew to ensure that the Eagles not only win but spank them heavily to show Malawians that they are not in the same class. “I want our darling Super Eagles to get the job done in style so that we can have something to cheer for next weekend after our junior athletes did us proud last Saturday in Mauritius” the DG stated. In a related development Egbeleye commended the Nigerian team that won the 2013 Africa Junior Championship in Mauritius. Nigeria amassed a total of 19 medals made up of nine gold, seven silver and three bronze to emerge as the over all winners of the competition that ended at the weekend. “The NSC is elated with the feat of our junior athletes that emerged the overall winners of the Africa Junior Championship. Their performance has given us hope of a bright future for athletics
