They forced relatives of the community members to come and take them home through the use of threats, frighten, temptations, and lies. Moreover, they threatened to disband the entire community within the next three to four months. Therefore, we think the disbandment plan carried out by the local government violated the constitution of the People’s Republic of China. Article 37 in the constitution - The freedom of citizens of the Peoples Republic of China is inviolable. Article 38 in the constitution - The personal dignity of citizens of the Peoples Republic of China is inviolable, and insult, libel, false accusation, or false incrimination directed against citizens by any means is prohibited. The Second Home is not an “illegal organization” as framed by local government officers. Since our founding, we have committed no crimes nor perpetrated anything illegal. We have not hurt nature nor degraded the harmony of society. We are not against the Chinese Central Government nor have we harmed others. We did not threaten the security of our nation, nor have we ever participated in any superstitious or political activities. As a group of citizens, we live together as a big family voluntarily, and we create material wealth and build a beautiful home through our diligent efforts. We all love this thoroughly communal life, which is in line with the spirit of the constitution, and the will of Chinese government leaders. It also meets the highest creed of Chinese Communist Party organization. As a citizen of the Chinese motherland, we all share the right to go anywhere freely, and to pursue job opportunities and better living within the framework of the constitution and the law.
