The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) has announced a new program to distribute Visitor Parking Passes (VPP) to those who live on designated Residential Permit Parking (RPP) blocks. VPP is provided to allow each household a visitor during the restricted hours to park for more than the allotted times. In the past, a pass has been mailed annually to each household on an RPP block, but DDOT has begun a new policy beginning January 1, 2015 that will require anyone wanting a pass to request it. The 2014 VPP is valid through December 31, 2014. To request a 2015 Visitor Parking Pass you must live on a designated RPP street, and go to: https://vpp.ddot.dc.gov/vpp to register. All approved VPP’s will be mailed every Friday by first class mail
