The Dogu Invasion Id like to start a conversation about the Dogu experience. I asked Warren to send me a tribe because I wanted to support this artists project and vision. I have become fond of the little critters situated around my house. While some have frightened or frightening expressions, I feel no animosity from them. If they are worried, it is not me they are worried about. Recently I took a few with me on a visit Down East thinking to extend their range and share my positive experience. The area I visit there is powerful with much earth energy, a good place for Dogus, right? I was surprised by the strong reactions of the four friends I interacted with and I became quite protective of the Dogus and they all came back home with me. Here are the condensed comments: Whoever made them is disturbed or at least very angry. Voodoo! Interesting. How much did they cost? ... Why would he just give them away? I dont know this man and I dont want his energy in my space. (His space there is 70 acres of trees.) I will take some back at a later date and leave them in other locations and without discussion. Please tell your stories about the Dogus in your lives.
