The Doll Test In 1939, psychologist Kenneth Clark and his wife - TopicsExpress

The Doll Test In 1939, psychologist Kenneth Clark and his wife did an experiment with dolls to determine how children perceived themselves. Mr Clark asked a key question to all the kids in the experiment and there were some answers so disturbing and so profound, that the entire experiment would play a crucial role in the case of Brown vs Board of Education. When asked, which doll is most like you, the child looked up and pointed at the brown doll and said, Thats a nigger. Im a nigger. The conclusion was drawn that many of the children did not reject the feelings of inferiority when identifying with the nigger doll. But rather, they accepted it as being apart of their lives. To them, being a nigger was just apart of who they truly were. Ironically, those children from that generation are your parents. They lived their lives with the mindset that they were just niggers just like the niggers before them and the niggers before them. The cancer of the shackled mind passed from generation to generation and look at you now. A product of their inferior mentality. You and all of your niggas. Your parents were blind even with the likes of Rev Dr King, Prince Malcolm X, and all the countless liberated minds of the civil rights era. They still couldnt see the light. If then, how doomed is this generation when their heros are reduced to rappers, entertainers and athletes.
