The Dream Stalker, A child once had a nightmare - but not - TopicsExpress

The Dream Stalker, A child once had a nightmare - but not anything normal. He had differing nightmares consecutively. There was a beastly demon in every one of them, all with the same behavior, but in different forms. It would follow him through anything he did to fend it off. It never moved when he watched. It would never stay put when he blinked. And, furthermore, It was always behind him. It was an easy way to find out where It was - until It kept behind him at all times. He ran - through the forest, through the neighborhood houses, and ran until he came upon the police station. They didnt notice him, until It stood outside the door. A burn mark with a face containing eyes, possibly a nose, and no mouth was on the floor. The child screamed, with only a low moan escaping. The officer asked if he was okay, when he woke up. The child told his parents, who could do nothing. The child had similar nightmares until one night, when he never woke up - it was marked as a coma, but there were no life signs; he looked as if he were breathing, his blood didnt seem to be pumping, and his heart wouldnt beat. That night, the hospital guard walked into the room with the child, as the child woke up. The guard thought he saw something in the corner of his eye, turned around, and stared at the curtain. He turned around again, to see a humanoid figure stare at him. He blinked, then the child was gone, and he swore there was movement above him. He turned around, to find the curtain drawn, and he ran out of the room, looking all over, trying to call out, but not finding the words. He tried to scream, and the sound was muffled - like a low moan. Looking down, he saw a burn in the shape of a face with eyes, a barely visible nose, and no mouth. It faded, and he fainted. It was marked as a coma.
