The Duchess Satine wins the last round with a score of 42-18. I guess being a Duchess has its perks. For this round we have two popular members from the Empire & Rebellion facing off. We have Admiral Piett of the Super Star Destroyer Executor versus Rebel Ace Pilot and co-founder of Rogue Squadron, Wedge Antilles! Admiral Firmus Piett was the last Admiral of Death Squadron, Darth Vaders own personal fleet of Star Destroyers. He succeeded Admiral Ozzel who had choked to death for repeated failures. Piett served aboard Vaders flagship the Executor. Admiral Piett was ambitious and had a talent for his ability to shift blame onto others when mistakes were made. He climbed through the ranks thanks to this method, though he is a hard working and dedicated officer. He made his home sector of Axxilia one of the safest in the Outer Rim with his creativity. His records are flawless and very clean. He may be criticized for his swift climb to the top but he is loyal, hard working and an enthusiastic member of the Imperial Fleet. Vader chooses officers with care and they are among the best the Empire has to offer, which means Piett is one of them. Hes just smarter than most. Wedge Antilles is one of the Rebellions best pilots. Antilles joined the Rebellion after Imperial Forces killed his girlfriend, Mala Tinero. He has survived many battles including both Death Star runs(only pilot to survive both) and the Battle of Hoth. After the Battle of Yavin, Luke and Wedge helped to form the famous Rogue Squadron, which continues well into the New Republic era. Luke leads Rogue Squadron until after the Battle of Hoth, then Wedge takes over. By 9 ABY Antilles was reluctantly promoted to General and oversaw Fleet operations instead of piloting. Wedge eventually retired after twenty years of service, only to be brought out of retirement when the Vong attacked. Nobody was ever more at home in a cockpit than Wedge Antilles. He is highly confident in himself and his skill almost to the point of arrogance. Hes an optimist with a great sense of humour who fights for justice, not glory. Which of these two will be the winner? The Leader of Death Squadron or the Leader of Rogue Squadron? To vote like the picture or comment the name of the character youd like to see win.
