The musician you may not have heard of that is raking in the dough and giving Jacksonville a strong buzz all around the world. Who you ask? None other than Jacksonville’s Sweet Water native, T-Rone. T-Rone started with a dream and made that dream come true by taking an unconventional path which lead to a major recording contract with Cash Money Records worth over $1M. T-Rone continues to diversify his sound through his live unplugged performances, EDM remixes and blends of world music. His breakthrough record “Hello Love” charted on Billboard at 16 and 43 and was an instant smash hit. With its obscure meaning and bold statements suggesting to be careful of love, “Hello Love” dawned the day of T-Rone as the Lord of Lust, says Birdman the CEO of Cash Money Records. “Hello Love,” produced by MGeezy of WinLab, a Jacksonville studio, gained great traction attracting remixes featuring Juicy J, Jim Jones, Ace Hood and various other artist, as well as, various covers being performed on YouTube. Since inking his 2013 deal with indie label Cash Money Records life hasn’t been the same. T-Rone has partnered with companies endorsing new brands and touring the world. T-Rone isn’t only focused on his career. He has selflessly reached back to the musicians and entertainers in Jacksonville by creating what has been a viral phenomenon with battle rappers through his BARburian Arena league. T-Rone has also been pushing promotions in Jacksonville to allow new upcoming entertainers to get noticed as opening acts and band members. T-Rone has strategically aligned himself with great promoters and venues in Jacksonville to provide a quality entertainment experience. Working with companies such as Five Guys Burgers and Fries, DTLR, and Slow-Watches just to name a few. T-Rone is not only gaining visibility for Jacksonville through his celebrity but also reaching back so that other great and aspiring talent can get noticed within the city. “This city has some amazing talent, I only urge that these individuals push the envelope, go to the radio stations, put their packages together correctly, then the record labels will sign more artists right here in Jacksonville, it’s a movement,” says T-Rone. T-Rone has a small but strong team, with his Business and Financial Coordinator Chance A., operating as manager this team has been making some incredible international strides. T-Rone’s single “GO” can currently be heard on the radio featuring another Jacksonville native producer Big Hack. T-Rone’s accomplishments simply came from wanting to live forever through his music. Be sure and check the calendar for upcoming T-Rone Cash Money Records, YMCMB, and Rich Gang events.eujacksonville/2014/12/18/duval-new-years-eve-party/
