The Early Irving Klaw Bettie Page in Bondage, in Nutrix and in Jersey City Vintage Sleaze . After swimming in hot congressional stew, Irving Klaw limited his business to mail order only and moved the money drop right across the Hudson River to a building in Jersey City, NJ. Checks no longer went to 14th Street, they went to NUTRIX Co. and an address which is associated with some serious slimeballs. Jersey City was only a few miles from Manhattan but far from New York jurisdiction…and that was the point. Note the price above. $3.75 for a 64 page paperback. At the time, most paperbacks were selling for a quarter. See why it was worth staying in business? Dont forget to include postage. The Betty Page in Bondage series is pretty brutal. That is Miss Page behind the leather mask, though it may be hard to tell. Seems a waste of the most beautiful face in modeling.
