The Early Years Anthology - 2004 27th April 2004 Sliding Mirrors Life is a tangent of a many myriads, Each step taken leads to a want or a need, for life is just that. Life is a house of mirrors, each decision taken or given, means you face another test. I am in a house of mirrors, trapped within my own mind and feelings, Each mirror seems to slide and as it slides on by, each of those mirrors give me a piece of my past and present, and they also show me my future. Some mirrors slide by with whispering voices, they call out and ask me to sell my soul to them, Others in sweet voices, tell me to go forward and never give up. But they are all voices from my mind. Each voice, each image in the sliding mirrors are my hopes dreams and wants, They show me what I want and what I need. Sliding mirrors, the house is in my heart, fathomless, deeply entrenched. Everyday I choose my path for that day, and one by one the mirrors slide past.
